Morgan Ramsay is a social entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience. He believes in doing well by doing good. Morgan’s expertise revolves around the shaping of attitudes and behavior through expression.

Morgan is Founder and Interim President at Entertainment Media Council, the national association committed to advancing the interactive entertainment business in the United States. As founder, he is recruiting board members from inside and outside the traditional interactive entertainment community. Currently, the board is comprised of representatives from DFC Intelligence, Electronic Entertainment Design and Research, Funcom, Game Developer Magazine, Midway Games, Ohio University, and China’s Shanghai Interactive Entertainment Committee.

Morgan continues to serve as Founder and President at Heretic, the strategic communications consultancy for defense and entertainment ventures, where, among other work, he has ghostwritten letters from the President of the United States of America, positioned the award-winning hip-hop artists Deep Rooted, supported the publicity efforts of the award-winning game developers Gastronaut Studios, developed strategy and advertising for DRS Technologies (now Finmeccanica), and designed corporate brand identities for the USS Liberty Veterans Association, Veteran Communicators Reunion, and Military Old Timer Communicators.

Morgan also composes and performs original Celtic (Gaelic) music for guitar. He actually sees himself as a “musician first.” He was featured as a guest musician with popular local rockers Myron & the Kyniptionz, sought after by Cold Harbor, Malachi Crunch, JUNK!, and Fiffin Market, and invited to perform at many San Diego-area venues.
